Backlight partitioning is the division of the backlight into multiple areas for independent control. At present, the advantage of the direct down backlight is that the backlight area is divided into smaller areas, and the more areas there are, the better the effect of light control.
The advantage of this control method is that it can more accurately control the brightness and darkness of the picture.
Fourth, what is the role of backlight partitioning?

Light control is not difficult, but the difficulty is precise light control.
The accurate method is nothing more than adding bulbs and partitions so that the area that each bulb can control is as small as possible, but the difficulty is in how to judge whether this area should turn off the lights, which involves algorithms.
Poor algorithms can cause you to have a picture in this area, but you turn off the lights, and there is no picture in another place, but you turn on the lights.
If each light control area is not sealed enough, then there will be a large light rhyme, and the effect is not as good as not controlling. It's like a fog moving.
It is not difficult to do partition light control, not only can it be done in a straight down, but also a side-entry backlight can also achieve light control. But the difficulty is in how to control the light precisely.
The control method of backlight is to control each bulb in the smallest possible area, but how to judge whether this area is bright, which requires the algorithm to cooperate, if there is no good algorithm system can not accurately judge the picture.
