①XGA (Extended Graphics Array), with a maximum support of 1024×768, is the most widely used resolution specification (screen ratio is 4:3), including 10.4, 12.1, 14.1 and 15-inch LCD screens.

②SXGA+ (Super Extended Graphics Array), which is an LCD specification improved on the SXGA specification and dedicated to notebook computers (screen ratio 4:3), supports a maximum resolution of 1400×1050, and is commonly used in 14.1-inch and 15-inch notebooks.

③UXGA (Ultra Extended Graphics Array), supports a maximum resolution of 1600 × 1200 (screen ratio 4:3), more for 15 and 16.1-inch notebook LCDs. However, to achieve such high resolution in the above two sizes, LCD costs a lot.

④WXGA (Wide Extended Graphics Array), which is a common widescreen display specification with a screen ratio of 16:10, mostly used for 10.8, 12.1 and 15.4-inch laptop screens, with a maximum resolution of 1280×800.

⑤WXGA+ (Wide Extended Graphics Array+), this specification is derived from WXGA, with a maximum resolution of 1280×854 (screen ratio 15:10) and 1440×900 (screen ratio 16:10) for Apple laptops. There are not many notebooks with this specification.

⑥WSXGA (Wide Super Extended Graphics Array), the maximum resolution is 1600×1024 (screen ratio 14:9), which is rarely used in models.

⑦WSXGA+ (Wide Super Extended Graphics Array+), developed from WSXGA, this resolution is common in 15.4-inch widescreen models, with a maximum resolution of 1680×1050 (screen ratio 16:10).

⑧WUXGA (Wide Ultra Extended Graphics Array), notebooks with this high resolution are usually equipped with a 15.4-inch or 17-inch screen with a maximum resolution of 1920×1200 (screen ratio 16:10).
